It has been a busy but fun return to school in 2nd Class following the lockdown. We made the most of the weather and got outdoors to sow some seeds as well as planting potatoes and shallots in our class vegetable patch.
We learned a new ceilidh dance in P.E. for Seachtain na Gaeilge and had great spraoi agus craic ag damhsa ‘Ballaí Luimnigh’
We got out and about on a Spring Walk to Newbridge, combining Science with History and examining what life long ago might have been like in Newbridge House.
And we celebrated World Book Day by sharing our favourite books and authors – with a few coming to life in our classroom!
