Last week was Seachtain na Gaeilge in DPETNS.
We had lots of activities throughout the week to celebrate.
Dé Deardaoin – Ábhair eile a mhúineadh trí Ghaeilge.
On Thursday, we had different through Gaeilge, for example Art or PE.
Dé Aoine – Ceol
On Friday, classes listened to some Irish music. Lots of classes began learning ‘Amhrán na bhFiann’ and ‘The Rattlin’ Bog’.#
Dé Luain – Lá na gCairde
On Monday, lots of classes began visiting their buddies and engaging in fun-filled activities, e.g. art or the Haka Gaelach.
Dé Máirt – Tráth na gCeist
On Tuesday, the Senior Classes enjoyed a table quiz trí Gaeilge while the Junior Classes enjoyed face painting.
Dé Chéadaoin – Lá Glas
Wednesday saw the end of Seachtain na Gaeilge and we celebrated with Lá Glas. We all came together in our green clothes to sing Ámhran na bhFiann.
